How it works

  1. 1
Attach On Add Transaction, take a photo with your camera, choose an image, or drag one in. Files up to 5 MB.
  2. 2
Read A vision AI reads the receipt image the way a person would — store name, date, line items and totals.
  3. 3
Pick the total It takes the final amount paid, skipping subtotal and tax lines, and drops currency symbols.
  4. 4
Fill the form Amount, date, a short note (“Groceries at FreshMart”) and the closest of your space’s categories are filled in. Check them and save.

If you already typed an amount

Traxpend never silently overwrites you. If the receipt’s total differs from what you entered, it shows both and asks which one to keep.

Tips for a clean scan

  • Lay the receipt flat in good light and fit the whole bill in the frame.
  • Make sure the total line is sharp — that’s the number that matters.
  • If a scan can’t be read, the receipt stays attached and you can enter the details yourself.

The Receipt Vault

Every receipt, warranty or bill your space attaches — photos or PDFs — is kept together in the Receipt Vault, so it’s there when you need to return something or claim a warranty.
