Many earners, one household, no confusion.
When parents, siblings and in-laws share one home, everyone contributes differently. Traxpend records who paid for what, splits by each earner’s share and shows the whole family where the month stands.
Sound familiar?
Contributions are unequal, and unclear
One person pays the rent, another covers groceries, parents pay the bills, and nobody knows whether it balances out.
Festivals and functions break the budget
Big one-off spends land on top of the monthly bills with no plan for them.
Only one person knows the numbers
The family accountant carries everything in a notebook or in their head.
The Mehta household
By contribution · Papa, Rohan, Neha, Vikram
- Groceries & milk ₹18,500
- Domestic help ₹9,000
- Electricity & gas ₹4,200
- Diwali budget ₹30,000
How Traxpend helps
Every earner, with the right access
Admins manage the space, and each member adds expenses from their own phone.
Shares by contribution
Set each earner’s share once, say 30/25/25/20, and the monthly settlement squares everyone up.
Goals for festivals and functions
Save towards Diwali, Eid, a wedding or school fees and watch progress together.
Vote before big purchases
Put the new fridge on the wishlist and let the family vote “need”, “maybe” or “later”.
Questions & Answers
How many family members can join?
Up to five on the free plan and up to 50 on Pro, enough for the whole joint family.
Can elders who aren’t comfortable with apps use it?
Yes. Traxpend is available in 11 languages including Hindi, and an expense can be added by typing it in plain words, like “milk 60”.
Does Traxpend move money between us?
No. It works out the fewest payments and gives each person a UPI QR or payment link; the money moves directly between family members.
