## Introduction

Traxpend operates a shared and household finance platform. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to advertisers or third-party brokers.

## Data we collect

- Account information: names, email addresses, profile pictures and authentication tokens.
- Financial records: transaction amounts, dates, categories, budget limits, wishlist votes and settlement records you or your space members add.
- Receipt and AI processing data: uploaded receipt photos and transcribed line items.
- Technical metadata: IP addresses and error logs, used only for diagnostics and brute-force prevention.

We never ask for bank login credentials and Traxpend does not connect to your bank accounts.

## How we use data

Solely to operate, support and improve Traxpend: syncing shared spaces, processing receipts, generating monthly reviews and keeping accounts secure.

## Security and retention

Data in transit is encrypted with HTTPS and HSTS. Passwords are stored only as salted, one-way PBKDF2 hashes. You can permanently delete your account and all ledger records at any time from account settings.
