Traxpend is a shared expense tracker and bill splitter for families, couples, flatmates, students and travel groups. A space’s members log expenses, follow one split rule (equal, by income or by room size), track category budgets, and settle up each month in the fewest payments using UPI in India or PayPal and Venmo links elsewhere. It works in any browser and installs like an app. No bank login is required.

Traxpend is built independently by Darshan Shah. It is free with unlimited expenses, no ads and no daily expense limit, and every account starts with 14 days of Pro. Pro (voice logging, unlimited AI receipt scanning, the AI assistant, every month of history, partner included) costs ₹99/month or ₹799/year in India and $4.99/month or $39.99/year in the US, all taxes included, with a 14-day refund. Traxpend never holds or moves money and never asks for bank logins. The app is available in 11 languages.

## What it does

- **One split rule per space**: equal, custom percentage, by room size, or in proportion to income (for example 60/40).
- **Minimum-transfer settle-up**: balances across everyone reduced to the fewest payments, with a UPI QR code or link in India, or a PayPal or Venmo link elsewhere.
- **No bank login**: add expenses by typing in plain words (for example "electricity 2140"), or by voice and receipt scanning on Pro.
- **Category budgets**: monthly limits per category with an alert at 80%.
- **Recurring bills and reminders**: rent, EMIs and subscriptions log themselves, with reminders before due dates.
- **Goals, wishlist voting and group chat** for saving and deciding together.
- **Multi-currency**: 40+ currencies for trips and international households.
