Groceries, school fees, the festival budget and the electricity bill — tracked together, planned together, and never forgotten.

## The problem

### Money talk only happens in a crisis

Without a shared view, budgets come up only when something’s already gone wrong.

### Bills slip through the cracks

Rent, EMIs and subscriptions are spread across people, apps and calendars.

### Big purchases become debates

Who decided we needed a new TV? Spending decisions happen without everyone weighing in.

## How Traxpend helps

### Everyone, with the right access

Admins manage the space; members add and see expenses.

### Recurring bills that log themselves

Rent, EMIs and subscriptions repeat monthly, with reminders before they’re due.

### Vote before you buy

Add big purchases to the wishlist and let the family vote “need”, “maybe” or “later”.

### Goals for festivals and fees

Save towards Diwali, school fees or a family trip and watch progress together.

## Example: The Shahs

Split rule: By contribution. Members: Darshan (40%), Muskan (35%), Prem (15%), Khushi (10%). Amounts are in ₹.

| Expense | Amount (₹) |
| --- | --- |
| School fees | 42,000 |
| Groceries | 14,320 |
| Diwali budget | 25,000 |
| Electricity | 2,140 |

Budget alerts at 80%.
