Create a goal with a target amount and pick its type — family savings, emergency fund, festival budget, vacation fund, education fund or a custom goal. Members add contributions and everyone sees progress.

## Setting target dates and contributions

Every savings goal includes an optional target completion date. Traxpend calculates the required monthly household contribution needed to hit your target on schedule.

1. **Log contributions**: When anyone transfers money into your household savings account, tap `Add Contribution` on the goal card to record who contributed and update the visual progress circle.
2. **Celebrate milestones**: Traxpend notifies your space when you cross 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% of your target, keeping everyone motivated.

> **Emergency fund rule:** We recommend setting an Emergency Fund goal covering 3 to 6 months of your household’s average fixed monthly expenses.
