Shared money should feel calm. Traxpend exists because the people we share money with matter more than the money. It keeps shared money fair, visible and easy, so it never becomes the argument.

## What we believe

- **Fair beats equal**: real households are not 50/50. Every space agrees what fair means (by income, by room, or evenly) and Traxpend does the maths.
- **Everyone sees the same numbers**: one shared ledger removes most arguments about money.
- **Private by default**: spaces are invite-only, and data is not sold, rented or traded to advertisers or anyone else.
- **Honest about what we are**: an independent product with no made-up user counts or fabricated testimonials.

## Who builds it

Traxpend is built independently by Darshan Shah (founder and engineer). It started because sharing money with the people he loves was more stressful than it should have been: spreadsheets broke on mobile, expense-splitting apps were full of ads, and banking apps wanted invasive account access. The premise is that collaborative finance should be private, bankless and respectful.
